Installation Steps for the Live Communication Server 2005 SP1 Management Pack for MOM 2005 SP1

Maintaining availability of LCS2k5 SP1 is critical when an Enterprise begins to rely on Instant Messaging in a similar fashion to e-mail.  The LCS2k5 SP1 Management Pack for MOM2k5 SP1 offers good general Alerting, Service Availability Info and Rules Processing.  Unfortunately, this Management Pack does not offer Reporting.  I am sure the next version will based upon the 'new tight' integration from Microsoft on Unified Communications.

Pair of MOM Servers (MOM2k5 SP1 on SQL2k5 SP1) - Management Server and Reporting Server
Single Application Layer Firewall (ISA2k6 SE)
Pair of Clients (WinXP SP2)
