I will be posting a separate Blog Entry showing the step-by-step event sequence for installation of a Web Server based Certificate on a Standalone LCS2k5 SP1 Server to provide TLS communication between the Office Communicator 2005 Client and an LCS2k5 SP1 Server (versus TCP-based communication which is easily 'sniffed' with Microsoft Network Monitor . As part of that general reference material here is the Microsoft link to some of the details of using a Windows Public Key Infrastructure to provide Transport Layer Security (TLS) between the Office Communicator 2005 Client app and the target LCS2k5 SP1 Server.
